As well as being a member of C4CC’s co-production group, Trevor holds the role of C4CC Shadow Co-Chair.
Trevor retired in 2014 from full time employment as Global Quality Manager of a strategic global programme, supporting around 2,000 warehouse operations in 56 countries worldwide achieve standardised Quality improvement.
Trevor is a member of the Patient Panel Group at his GP practice and raised the issue of online access for patients, which resulted in the practice allowing patients to have online access to their own GP detailed record from January 2014.
He is currently actively involved, both nationally and locally, as a patient representative on the Patient Online programme and he also volunteers with Healthwatch Birmingham and is part of the Enter & View team and GP Mystery Shopper team.
Trevor firmly believes in the benefits to patients of the NHS England Patient Online initiative and was actively involved in promoting the programme, as a patient representative in the PWTG (Patient Working Together Group).
Trevor suffered a stroke in 2008 and following this was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. He suffered a second stroke in 2010. He is also carer for his partner, Jennifer, who suffered an illness in 2003 which left her with profound dementia as well as profound issues with her executive functionality.
